10 Coolest Movie Actresses
10- Patricia Arquette (April 8, 1968- ): A great actress, you have to check her out in True Romance where she polishes off some of the bad guys. She showed a lot of passion, and was cute to boot.
9- Jane Fonda (December 21, 1937- ): She starred in many films during the sixties and seventies, and was fit before fitness was popular with women. Although she said some bad things about Americans during the Vietnam War, at least she had the courage to apologize since then.
8- Juliette Lewis (June 21, 1973- ): She's appeared in over forty movies, and some of her performances are so intense, she must actually be psychotic. Not only can she act, but she's also started a singing career.
7- Linda Hamilton (September 26, 1956- ): Who could forget her pumped-up biceps in Terminator 2? Her character was determined and merciless in her efforts to stop the future from happening, and we loved every minute of it.
6- Jamie Lee Curtis (November 22, 1958- ): Queen of the Horror films, she's holds your attention in any role she plays. To me, she's never looked better than in that black dress in True Lies.
5- Angelina Jolie (June 4, 1975- ): Probably the only person who could have played Lara Croft in the film Tomb Raider (I wasn't crazy about the film, but she was great in it…her walk even matched that of the video game character). A talented actress, this former model is an ambassador for the U.N. Refugee Agency, and has done a lot of humanitarian work.
4- Sigourney Weaver (October 8, 1949- ): "Get away from her you bitch!" Her famous line from the fight scene in the movie Aliens. One of, if not the, first female action heroines, her character Ripley was both a loving mother figure to the little girl Newt, and a killer of big bad aliens...and Weaver had the talent to pull it off.
3- Michelle Yeoh (August 6, 1962- ): I saw her in the Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies, and thought she was amazing. She played an action star like she'd done it many times before…probably because she had. A former beauty pageant winner, she performs her own stunts, mostly in martial arts films including the popular Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
2- Milla Jovovich (December 17, 1975- ): I fell in love with her during her fight scene in The Fifth Element. She has the face and body of a model (because she is one), but can kick butt with the best of them.
1- Uma Thurman (April 29, 1970- ): She's tall, she's cool, and she's one of few celebrities who actually took time off when she had her first child to concentrate on motherhood…I'm looking at you, Britney Spears! She trained for three months in preparation for her role as a martial arts assassin in Kill Bill, and then she played the sword wielding action hero like no other woman could have.
