Descriptions

"Downtown Montreal1-2": Montreal as seen from across the St. Lawrence river.

"Biosphere": An environmental museum located on St. Helen's Island. The Biosphere is a leftover from a world's fair 40 years ago called Expo '67.

"Jacques Cartier Bridge (North and South)": A bridge built in 1930 linking Montreal and Longueuil.

"Port of Montreal": A view of the Old Port of Montreal taken from the Concorde Bridge.

"Montreal Casino": Another Expo '67 leftover, this building was refurbished and turned into the Casino de Montréal. Seen from the south side.

"Fairmount Bagel" & "Schwartz's Deli": Two things Montreal is famous for are our bagels and our smoked meat sandwiches, and these are the two well known landmarks: For fresh bagels right out of the oven, try Fairmount Bagel located at 74 Fairmount Avenue West, and for a smoked meat sandwich that melts in your mouth, you can't do better than Schwartz's Deli at 3895 Saint Laurent Boulevard.
As a side note, the construction barriers seen in front of Schwartz's are a good example of the constant road work Montrealers have to live with: They've been working on Saint Laurent for two years now.
